PDP chiefs have visited Senator Jonah Jang remanded in prison over alleged N6.3billion

 Those who visited Jang include former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and Jerry Gana
Prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday, May 20, visited the embattle former governor of Plateau state and senator representing Plateau north senatorial district, Jonah Jang, in Jos prison.
Niajhitplay Recall that Jang was remanded in prison after his arraignment at Kogi state high court on May 16 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The senator is facing a twelve count charge over alleged corruption and misappropriation of N6.3 billion during the last leg of his tenure as governor of Plateau state.
Punch reports that those who visited Jang in prison include former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, a former Minister of Information and Orientation, Prof. Jerry Gana, Chief Chris Giwa and prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Others include a serving senators from the South-South and his colleagues in the National Assembly.
