…OBI CUBANA, E-MONEY PRESENT, AS ALEX O, DUNCAN MIGHTY AND IKPA UDO THRILL FANS
Saturday January 14, 2023 will never be forgotten in the history of entertainment in Akwa Ibom State, as Capital Luxury Music staged a 5-star concert in honour of Dr. Monday Udoidiong, who was committed to mother earth same day.
Nigerian music stars, Alex O, Duncan Mighty, Ikpa Udo Anogiri and Capital Luxury’s first lady, Aviva Keys performed to thrill sympathizers and guests, backed by the Hill Praise Band. The host, Capital Luxury Group CEO, Mr Edidiong Udoidiong was all smiles, exchanging pleasantries with guests at the funeral service of his late father, Dr. Monday Udoidiong held at his hometown, Eka Uruk Eshiet Primary School, Etim Ekpo, preceding ARISE CONCERT 2023.
The concert, which is it’s 2nd edition, was put together by Capital Luxury Music, a subsidiary of Capital Luxury Group; a conglomerate with investments in automobile, transportation, property and general merchandise.
The event coordinator, Mr. Onugbu Okwuise left no stone unturned to deliver a world class event.
The duo of E Money and Obi Cubana also graced the occasion to honour Capital Luxury boss, also known by his stage name Ed Singer, on the occasion.
Who-is-who in Etim Ekpo and Akwa Ibom State were not left out,as they turned up to sympathize with the family of Pa Udoidiong on the demise of their patriarch. The list of top personalities of Etim Ekpo origin in attendance included; the Paramount Ruler of Etim Ekpo, His Royal Majesty, Edidem Prof Amanam A. Udo, the PDP candidate for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Science & Tech, Dr. Imoh Moffat, the state house of assembly member, Hon. Mfon Idung.
Guests and sympathizers presented eulogies in separate statements and delivered condolences to the bereaved family, just as they sent good wishes to the Capital Luxury boss for putting up such grand event.
It could be recalled that the maiden edition of Arise Concert took place in 2021, during the funeral rite activities of late Mrs Mercy Udoidiong and the unveiling of Mercy Me Foundation.
Glitz and glamour, pomp and pagaentry are just a few words to describe the event, as the musician and tycoon, Ed Singer laid his mum to rest, spiced with a weeklong of charity and entertainment events, which paraded some of Nigeria’s renowned entertainers, same he has hosted in honour of his father 2 years after.
