Meet The Nigerian coach, who is the first African coach to qualify a team for the UEFA Champions League

Former super eagles player, Ndubuisi Egbo has become the first coach from African descent to qualify an European team for the biggest continental competition, UEFA Champions League.

Ndubuisi Egbo achieved the feet with his Albanian club side, FK Tirana after winning the Albanian League with the side.

The Nigerian League winner becomes the first coach to win the Albanian league for FK Tirana in 11 years.

Ndubuisi Egbo is from eastern Nigeria, as a footballer, he won the silver and bronze medal of the African Cup of Nations and also won the Nigerian league.

A few coaches from Africa have managed teams across various leagues in Europe but none is yet to manage a team in the top five league in Europe (English Premeir League, Spanish La Liga Santanda, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1).

Ndubuisi Egbo has set a pace, we hope to see more Afican coaches across top flight football teams in Africa, Europe, America and Asia.
